    "description": "<p>The University of Pikeville maintains a pool of adjunct faculty who are passionate about teaching and student learning. This application is for a position as a Dual Credit Instructor with UPIKE’s Dual Credit Program.</p>\n<p><br>Applicants must be currently employed with one of our high school partners to be considered for the position.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching the assigned course/s, uploading course materials to UPIKE’s learning management system (if needed), entering student grades, and adhering to all related deadlines and policies.</li>\n<li>Submitting a copy of syllabi to the Dual Credit Instructor each semester.</li>\n<li>Tutoring and mentoring students as needed.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Regular and responsive communication with the Dual Credit Coordinator and Dean of the appropriate college.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a minimum of a master’s degree and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in the course you wish to teach.</li>\n<li>Must have excellent organizational, communication, teaching and decision-making skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br>Review of applications occur as needed within each division of the College.</p>\n<p><br>The University of Pikeville is an equal opportunity employer committed to assembling a diverse, broadly trained faculty and staff.
