Our commitment is simple: meet the highest standards in the industry—and then exceed them.</p><hr><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Responsible for the design of mechanical and piping systems, process and mechanical equipment including design and selection of static and rotating equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Input to general arrangement drawings and layout (2D &amp; 3D) development&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of pipe stress analysis will be considered an asset</li><li>Perform engineering calculations, review and sealing of documents&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, requisitions and perform technical bid evaluations of process and mechanical equipment</li><li>Build and maintain client relationships and respond to client requests, travel to various client sites, attend project meetings and conduct field reviews as required</li><li>Always ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites</li></ul><hr><p><strong>The Skills That Set You Apart</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>You’ve built at least 5+ years of deep expertise in mechanical engineering through hands‑on project work across industrial, energy, mining, or infrastructure environments - ideally with clients within the Sudbury area.</li><li>You bring proven experience solving real‑world engineering challenges, from equipment specification to system design and integration.</li><li>You’re comfortable working in the field or onsite as needed and adhere to all safety requirements.</li><li>You have working proficiency with mechanical design and modeling tools and continuously grow your technical toolkit.</li><li>You are a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.</li><li>You care about doing work that matters—to clients, communities, and the world around you.</li></ul><hr><p><strong>Why Choose WSP?</strong><br>We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
