Conceive, design, engineer, and implement data and software solutions that solve significant scientific or business problems.&#xa0;&#xa0;Investigate,&#xa0;identify, and implement&#xa0;state-of-the-art&#xa0;technology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains in&#xa0;own&#xa0;function and throughout multiple business areas.&#xa0;&#xa0;Act as a lead in his/her area of expertise and critically evaluate relevant technological advances and integrate this knowledge into new business technology solutions.&#xa0;&#xa0;Technology Architects will be aligned to a specific area: Information, Solution, System, User Experience (UX)&#xa0;or&#xa0;Data.​ &#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>​​Conceive, design, engineer, and implement software solutions by&#xa0;assessing&#xa0;information needs, conferring with users, analyzing systems flow and data usage, and investigating problem areas;&#xa0;resolve&#xa0;key project hurdles by applying available information and technical&#xa0;expertise.&#xa0;</li><li>​Provide comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level across all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms and computing environments.&#xa0;</li><li>​Demonstrate knowledge of the pharmaceutical business and apply that understanding to deliver agile, impactful, and cost-effective solutions in support of scientific and R&amp;D computing environments.&#xa0;</li><li>​Operate with a high degree of autonomy and productivity, requiring minimal direction or interaction with supervision.&#xa0;</li><li>​Research and evaluate alternative solutions, recommending the most efficient and cost-effective application programming approach;&#xa0;develop&#xa0;new or modified programs,&#xa0;reuse&#xa0;existing code, and&#xa0;integrate&#xa0;purchased&#xa0;solutions where&#xa0;appropriate.&#xa0;</li><li>​Lead and mentor a technical cloud team supporting scientific and R&amp;D computing environments; supervise team members as needed and remain accountable for team effectiveness and performance.&#xa0;</li><li>​Lead the team in executing CI/CD-based solutions and ensuring successful delivery of cloud and platform initiatives, including automation development, implementation, and ongoing support.&#xa0;</li><li>​Oversee day-to-day AWS cloud operations across development and production environments, including infrastructure oversight and general maintenance activities.&#xa0;</li><li>​Monitor cloud&#xa0;utilization, cost, and performance, and provide clear reporting to senior leadership with recommendations to improve efficiency and support strategic&#xa0;objectives.&#xa0;</li><li>​Partner with technical team members, Enterprise Cloud, and other cross-functional groups to resolve AWS-related issues, coordinate HPC-related priorities, build vendor and peer relationships, and ensure compliance with corporate standards, including code of conduct, safety,&#xa0;GxP, data security, and the software development lifecycle.</li></ul>",
