Based in<span> South Africa</span>, this full-time role is central to translating laboratory and pilot-scale breakthroughs into full-scale, commercially viable operations. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and successful project execution.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Accountabilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the scale-up of gold leaching technologies from lab to pilot and full-scale operations.</li>\n<li>Design and optimize metallurgical flowsheets tailored to various ore types.</li>\n<li>Manage relationships with labs, engineering firms, and equipment vendors.</li>\n<li>Oversee the development of process diagrams, equipment lists, and commissioning plans.</li>\n<li>Direct on-site commissioning, ramp-up, and performance tracking.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, including tailings and water management.</li>\n<li>Act as the key liaison between technical teams, project partners, and clients.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge &amp; Experience Requirements:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education</span>: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience</span>: 15+ years in gold processing/metallurgy, including site-based roles and project delivery.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Expertise</span>: Proven experience scaling up at least two gold processing technologies (e.g., CIL/CIP, flotation, SART, BIOX/POX).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Depth</span>: Strong foundation in comminution, flotation, carbon management, and reagent schemes.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety &amp; Compliance</span>: Familiarity with HAZOP, LOPA, ICMI Cyanide Code, and GISTM/ICMM standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Competencies:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Process Engineering &amp; Flowsheet Design</span>: Expertise in integrating unit operations and scaling up processes.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Metallurgical Expertise</span>: Deep knowledge of cyanide and alternative lixiviants (e.g., glycine).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Circuit Design</span>: Proficiency in comminution and flotation circuit optimization.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Commissioning &amp; Operational Readiness</span>: Experience leading commissioning and ramp-up activities.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Process Safety</span>: Strong command of safety methodologies and regulatory frameworks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership &amp; Behavioral Competencies:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Strategic Thinking</span>: Aligns technical solutions with business goals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaborative Leadership</span>: Builds strong cross-functional and external partnerships.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Results Orientation</span>: Delivers high-impact outcomes on time and within budget.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Analytical Decision-Making</span>: Translates complex data into actionable strategies.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Adaptability</span>: Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who We Are:</span></span></p>\n<p>Draslovka is a global supplier with a family-business approach and a future-focused mindset.
