The time has never been better to Embrace Your Great and work in an environment with the highest safety standards in the industry.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Position: The electrification product manager is responsible for development of trailer electrification products in support of zero emission products.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong><u>WHAT YOU’LL DO</u></strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead appropriate functional organizations to develop product strategies and initiatives for the electrified CV market to achieve a differentiated market position (Define where to play and how to win)</li>\n <li>Develop product plans, business cases, and plans to implement strategies for product line profitability</li>\n <li>Become subject matter expert on assigned products, markets, customers, and competitors by:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Understanding market trends, requirements, legislation, and impacts</li>\n   <li>Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements</li>\n   <li>Defining product vision</li>\n   <li>Working closely with engineering, sales, service, and marketing to develop long-term product road maps</li>\n   <li>Working to develop optimized investment, marketing, and go-to-market approaches associated with developed product strategies</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Develop sophisticated and concise communications regarding strategy development and conclusions</li>\n <li>Develop clear and compelling product stories and value propositions</li>\n <li>Champion assigned product strategies to drive implementation</li>\n <li>Lead electrification projects in collaboration with internal teams, customers, vendors and industry partners</li>\n <li>Provide training and educate Great Dane personnel in trailer electrification</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: BS in Electrical Engineering.</li>\n <li>Experience:  5-years minimum experience in related field.</li>\n <li>Skills: Strong working knowledge of refrigeration cycle and real-world application.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of AC/DC power, storage, and control system.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of power inverters, management, and energy loss characteristics.</li>\n <li>Familiar with battery types, application, and limitation.</li>\n <li>Good understanding of high voltage DC systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to coordinate and work with multiple vendors and industry partners.</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and organize loosely defined projects.</li>\n <li>Ability to generate advanced 3D CAD modeling. </li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal, written, and oral skills.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated.</li>\n <li>Working understanding of engineering/manufacturing data requirements and design tools.</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of design engineering and manufacturing applications and processes.</li>\n <li>Project management experience.</li>\n <li>Working understanding of PCs and Windows OS.</li>\n <li>Travel: Occasional travel is required to provide onsite support and/or meetings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Office and plant environment.</li>\n <li>Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.</li>\n <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>ABOUT GREAT DANE</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With a history dating back to 1900, Great Dane has established itself as a transportation solutions leader of today – delivering innovative products and exceptional services that help our customers and employees succeed.
