Our team of more than 180 professionals works across the country to deliver a diverse range of engineering, environmental survey, mapping, landscape architecture, and planning projects for federal, state, local, tribal, and private clientele.&nbsp;</p><p>DJ&amp;A&rsquo;s Civil Engineering &amp; Design (CE&amp;D) Group is seeking a full-time Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of progressive experience leading complex water/wastewater projects. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong project delivery skills, and the ability to mentor and guide internal project teams from project concept through construction.</p><p><strong><u>Preferred project experience with:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Water and wastewater treatment</li><li>Pump stations and lift stations</li><li>Water distribution and wastewater collection systems</li><li>Engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and cost estimating</li></ul><p><strong><u>Primary Duties and Responsibilities:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Serve as the technical design lead on complex water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.</li><li>Independently perform and oversee detailed engineering analyses, hydraulic modeling, and calculations.</li><li>Lead the preparation of design documents, plans, specifications, and reports.</li><li>Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews of project deliverables.</li><li>Develop engineering reports, feasibility studies, and construction cost estimates.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Project Managers to ensure project success.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.</li><li>Support business development by contributing technical expertise in proposals and client meetings.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required).</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.</li><li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) (required).</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements:</u>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, and use computer equipment for extended periods.</li><li>Occasional travel to project sites, including outdoor environments and construction areas.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Salary and Benefits</u>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>$45-$55/hr. depending on experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including:</li><li>Medical insurance</li><li>401(k) with employer contribution</li><li>Paid time off and holidays</li><li>Professional development support, including licensure and training</li><li>Flexible work schedule</li></ul><p><strong><u>Office Location</u>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>This position may be based in Missoula, MT; Bozeman, MT; or Denver, CO.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
