The successful candidate will provide direct patient care and teach residents and medical students in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates with excellent clinical skills, strong communication and a commitment to outstanding patient care and medical education are encouraged to apply.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School</li>\n <li>Residency training in Internal Medicine</li>\n <li>Board-certified/Board-eligible in Internal Medicine</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS license.</li>\n <li>Excellent clinical and teaching skills.</li>\n <li>Proven commitment to research and quality improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Join a dynamic network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.</li>\n <li>Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.</li>\n <li>This opportunity is 80% Clinical and 20% Academic.</li>\n <li>Provide direct patient care on the internal medicine faculty inpatient service and in the outpatient  clinics.</li>\n <li>Supervise, teach, mentor and evaluate residents and students rotating on both the inpatient service and at the outpatient clinics.</li>\n <li>Participate in the residency and medical student didactics series including lectures, morning report, journal club and morbidity and mortality.</li>\n <li>Participate in residency interviews and recruitment processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Starting Minimum Rate</h2>HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $226,223.
