You will protect and promote the interests of both Gilbane and the client in all matters as well as demonstrating the personal characteristics of a developing leader. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assure all project-related work plans and project-specific documents necessary for performing project QC activities are onsite</li>\n <li>Review subcontractor quality plans for compliance to requirements</li>\n <li>Inspect work conformance to contract and design documents</li>\n <li>Understand drawings and specifications</li>\n <li>Implement the Three Phase Control System</li>\n <li>Develop daily quality control reports, prepare and issue detailed meeting minutes, and assist with post construction reports</li>\n <li>Use Submittal Register to track and assure required materials are approved in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents</li>\n <li>Proactively initiate deficiencies and non-conformances documentation, and monitor and verify corrective actions</li>\n <li>Stop work if necessary to resolve matters that affect safety, quality or non-compliance with design documents</li>\n <li>Verify materials received are same as those identified in approved submittals and complete material receipt inspection checklists</li>\n <li>Coordinate, witness, and document 3rd Party testing, special inspections, and commissioning of building systems</li>\n <li>Document all tests and results</li>\n <li>Coordinate and document completion inspection process</li>\n <li>Manage a timely project closeout to include compilation and turnover of all required documents</li>\n <li>Coaches and mentors less experienced team members </li>\n <li>Supports a positive and inclusive work environment </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BS OR MS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management</li>\n <li>7 years construction experience; 2 years as QC Manager</li>\n <li>Strong Microsoft Word and Excel user</li>\n <li>CMAA Certification preferred</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong verbal and written skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
