    "requisitionDescription": "<p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Service Tech- Rye, NH&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Diesel Direct Inc/Atlantic Fuels</p><p>$35 - $45 an hour Full-time</p><p><strong>Shift and schedule</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;ROTATING On call</li></ul><p><strong>Atlantic Fuels Service Technician</strong></p><p>The Propane &amp; Oil Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating systems for our customers. Atlantic Fuels techs provide professionalism, reliability, and service. We strive to find great opportunities to help the customer with needs, especially consistent preventative maintenance. We seek an experienced Team Member who can help our growing team win with their knowledge and positive contributions!</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Install, service, and repair residential propane gas and oil heating systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Install, maintain, and repair propane tanks, piping, and appliances.</li><li>Perform propane gas checks and provide service for propane systems.</li><li>Detailed boiler, burner and oil tank systems cleanings.</li><li>Clear communication with customers to provide updates and recommendations as needed.</li><li>Close communication with service department sta􀆯 regarding needs and scheduling.</li><li>Ability to calmly navigate changes in schedule and in the field.</li><li>Find opportunities for services, upgrades, and new installations.</li><li>Maintain and track inventory in assigned service vehicle.</li><li>Order supplies and submit purchase orders from supply houses as needed.</li><li>Accurately document all work performed and parts for billing.</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls, including system failures, boiler breakdowns, and urgent heating issues.</li><li>Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>NH Gas Fitter license.</li><li>3+ years of relevant service or HVAC experience.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.</li><li>Independent, self-driven work ethic with strong time management skills.</li><li>Effective communication skills with both co-workers and customers.</li><li>Physical ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and lift/move 50-75 lbs.</li><li>Participation in the on-call rotation.</li><li>Ability to handle fast paced changes on the fly. Positive attitude a must!</li></ul><p><strong>Physical requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing.</li><li>Frequent use of hands and arms to reach, feel, handle, or pull.</li><li>Ability to work in tight spaces</li><li>Ability to lift/move 50-75 lb objects</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>DOT Medical Card, or willingness to obtain.</li><li>CDL with Tank and Haz-Mat endorsement, or willingness to obtain.</li><li>Maine Burner &amp; Gas License</li><li>NORA Silver Oil Heat Technician Certificate.</li><li>NH Voluntary Heating Technician Certification.</li><li>Optional: A/C experience or certifications.</li></ul>\n",
