    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support development of full-stack software solutions, under general guidance, for laser &amp; optical subsystem products.</li>\n <li>Support the computer hardware infrastructure for the business unit software engineering &amp; manufacturing activities.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Continuous improvements of data applications and test &amp; measurement (T&amp;M) hardware to support large-scale manufacturing in a dynamically evolving technological field.</li>\n <li>Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enable collaborative software development and independent operations of non-software professionals, such engineers and scientists.</li>\n <li>Support other software and data projects, such as manufacturing business systems, enterprise resource planning tools, and tool automation.</li>\n <li>Develop new applications in PowerBI</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, software engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics, or similar fields.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience in test &amp; measurement hardware and software maintenance and/or development.</li>\n <li>2 years experience in managing information systems.</li>\n <li>Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply, who will be considered for a commensurate position.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages. For example: Windows Powershell, Bash, Python, Java, C++, C#....</li>\n <li>Experience with&nbsp;Power BI</li>\n <li>Experience with database management</li>\n <li>Best practices in collaborative software development: version control, flowcharts, documentation, and clear code comments.</li>\n <li>Sound understanding of fundamental information systems technologies.</li>\n <li>Ability to learn new concepts and skills fast.</li>\n <li>Technical writing skills, such as maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li>\n <li>Knowledge in manufacturing, business processes, and related fields would be a plus.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to align technical goals to business objectives.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Primarily office work on a computer.
