This role is ideal for professionals with a background in accounting or finance who are passionate about mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial due diligence, and delivering insights that drive strategic decisions. You will play a key role in performing Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses, supporting buy-side and sell-side transactions, and working closely with clients, private equity firms, and strategic buyers.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses for buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.</li>\n <li>Analyze historical and projected financial statements to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.</li>\n <li>Assess working capital, net debt, and other key deal metrics.</li>\n <li>Prepare detailed financial due diligence reports and executive summaries.</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of data books, data room management, and client deliverables.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather and validate financial data.</li>\n <li>Support valuation analysis and transaction structuring as needed.</li>\n <li>Participate in client meetings and calls to present findings and insights.</li>\n <li>Assist with business development efforts, including proposal writing and pitch materials.</li>\n <li>Stay current on industry trends, accounting standards, and M&A market activity.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).</li>\n <li>CFA, ASA, MST a plus</li>\n <li>1–3 years of experience in public accounting, transaction advisory, audit, or financial due diligence.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP).</li>\n <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data room platforms is a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Amanda Feltner, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process. The estimated base pay range for this role is $66,000 to $89,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases.
