Expand the company’s growing footprint in the livestock risk management space. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Primary duties will include: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Learns all the functions, strategies and techniques to become an effective risk management consultant.</li>\n <li>Completes risk management training curriculum including classroom instruction and on-site learning under the guidance of an experienced Risk Management Consultant(s). </li>\n <li>Develops expertise in at least one assigned commodity area.</li>\n <li>Learn and become a Livestock Insurance Agent.</li>\n <li>Identifies, prospects and contacts potential clients to educate them on commodities trading and risk management.</li>\n <li>Analyzes individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks. </li>\n <li>Performs market analysis, including reporting on commodities production, weather, supply and demand variables, and provides risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies for clients. </li>\n <li>Assesses risk management processes and functions, monitors trading risks and identifies underlying risk exposure.</li>\n <li>Develops and recommends fact-based risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies for clients.</li>\n <li>Executes physical contracts, futures, options and Swaps that support commodity risk management strategies.</li>\n <li>Maintains and analyzes risk reports pertaining to trading activities.</li>\n <li>Participates in analysis and reconciliation of positions and P&L reported by trading team.</li>\n <li>Ensures the market and credit risk on non-traditional transactions is captured appropriately.</li>\n <li>Monitors trading activities and exposures to ensure they are within approved policies and limits.</li>\n <li>Prepares and runs econometric models for fundamental commodity forecasting and analysis.</li>\n <li>Maintains prompt and regular attendance.</li>\n <li>This list of responsibilities may not be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>To land this role you will need:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, as you’ll need to build your own business</li>\n <li>Strong quantitative skills</li>\n <li>Proven time management skills. Should be able to work well under pressure managing several time sensitive deadlines</li>\n <li>Strong decision-making capabilities</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Effective presentation skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education / Certification Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields preferred</li>\n <li>Series 3 license required (must obtain within first 6 months of employment; company will cover cost)</li>\n <li>Livestock Insurance Agent License (must obtain, company will cover cost)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Style:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5 days per week onsite</li>\n <li>Dynamic, time-sensitive, trade room environment</li>\n <li>Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, as you’ll need to build your own business</li>\n <li>Willing to travel seeing clients and prospects</li>\n <li>Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer</li>\n</ul>",
