You will be part of a team that modernizes the customer database and develop modern analytic User Interfaces (UIs). &nbsp;The position is responsible for leading software engineering, data architecture, and system integration efforts to enhance mission applications for intelligence data production, storage, dissemination, and exploitation. Please note that this position is <strong>contingent&nbsp;</strong>upon contract award.</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities<em>:&nbsp;</em></strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Lead software modernization efforts, focusing on performance and scalability.</li><li>Oversee data migration activities, ensuring compatibility and functional testing.</li><li>Direct the design and development of modern UI/UX to improve usability.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, database, and UI engineers, to ensure successful integration and performance.</li><li>Provide constructive feedback during code reviews, promoting high-level software practices.</li><li>Participate in an agile development, providing recommended improvements as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with other product technical leads to identify reusable components/services that enhance efficiency and business value across multiple products.</li><li>Increase product reliability/maintainability through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.</li><li>Learn and adopt new and emerging technologies, demonstrating growth mindset and participating in ongoing professional development.</li><li>Mentor junior engineers, fostering professional growth, technical excellence, and collaboration.</li><li>Excel in documentation, including in-code comments, internal wikis, flowcharts, and system architecture documents.</li><li>Debug multiple services across a product, identifying root causes and implement fixes.</li><li>Work closely with the Program Manager, clearly communicating tradeoffs between technology options, delivery timelines, and mission priorities.<span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:11px;\"><a id=\"_anchor_5\" href=\"#_msocom_5\" language=\"JavaScript\" name=\"_msoanchor_5\" target=\"_blank\">[KH5]</a>&nbsp;</span></li><li>Communicate technical progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to government stakeholders and program management.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Master&#39;s degree (MA/MA) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Management, or similar <span style=\"line-height:107%;font-size:11px;\"><a id=\"_anchor_7\" href=\"#_msocom_7\" language=\"JavaScript\" name=\"_msoanchor_7\" target=\"_blank\">[KH7]</a>&nbsp;</span>degree preferred.
