    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><h1 id=\"isPasted\">Field Service Technician</h1><h1>Job Summary:</h1><p>The Field Service Technician will perform repair work and maintenance for lift trucks and other equipment. This position reports to the Field Service Manager or Service Manager.</p><h2>Duties/Responsibilities:</h2><ul><li>Daily travel to customer location(s)</li><li>Identifies/troubleshoot mechanical problems with lift trucks or other equipment.</li><li>Performs tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examined.</li><li>Performs repairs, replacements, or preventative maintenance.</li><li>Performs further tests that may include test driving the vehicle to ensure repairs are completed correctly.</li><li>Estimate or quote repair costs.</li><li>Maintain personal service van and inventory as required.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2>Required Skills/Abilities:&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Extensive knowledge of the specialized area and general equipment repair.</li><li>Excellent mechanical repair skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.</li><li>Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.</li><li>Ability to read service and repair manuals.</li><li>Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.</li><li>Ability to read work orders.</li><li>Must be willing to submit and pass an annual MVR check.</li></ul><h2>Education and Experience:</h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>1-2 years of related experience preferred.</li></ul><h2>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</h2><ul><li>Must be able to work safely in areas with potential exposure to cold/hot temperatures, noise pollution, dust, solvents, fuels, and battery acid.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.</li><li>Must be able to stand for 6+ hours daily.</li><li>Must have good dexterity and grip strength; repetitive hand and wrist motions required.</li><li>Good binocular vision to inspect repair work.</li><li>Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.</li></ul><div id=\"_com_1\" language=\"JavaScript\"><p><br></p></div><p><br></p><p><br></p></div>\n",
