The primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to manage general repairs and other maintenance needs for Housing &amp; Residence Life buildings, equipment and other property and may perform lead worker duties over temporary staff including students.</p><p><strong>Duties&nbsp;and&nbsp;Responsibilities&nbsp;of&nbsp;Position&nbsp;</strong></p><p>45%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Environmental Upkeep and Prevention</p><ul><li>Monitor and maintain accurate records of assessments, reports, and follow-up actions related to healthy environment management.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of residential facilities to identify early signs of mildew, mold, or moisture-related concerns.</li><li>Implement preventive measures and maintenance strategies to reduce humidity and ensure proper ventilation in living and common spaces.</li><li>Coordinate timely cleaning, remediation, or professional treatment of affected areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.</li><li>Maintain&nbsp;Synexis&nbsp;air&nbsp;purifier&nbsp;units.</li></ul><p>20%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Environmental Maintenance &amp; Education</p><ul><li>Provide information to residents and staff on moisture prevention practices and reporting procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with Housing Leadership and safety teams to ensure compliance with health and environmental standards and guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Clean/replace&nbsp;filters,&nbsp;adjust&nbsp;and&nbsp;calibrate&nbsp;pumps,&nbsp;thermostats,&nbsp;and&nbsp;valves.</li></ul><p>20%&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
