    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>IMSA is committed to equity and excellence, including the active recruitment of students from all areas of Illinois.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Currently, we are seeking a youth Math Teacher for the Summer 2026, the program will be housed at the Southside STEM station in Chicago, IL. The program will run for 4 days 12pm- 4pm. In this program, candidates will work with students that have varying academic backgrounds.</p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p>Program Dates and Details: </p>\n<ul>\n <li> June 15-18, 2026 </li>\n <li>Expected work hours are 11:00AM - 4:30M</li>\n <li>Instruction begins on June 15 and classes are held Monday - Thursday, June 15-18, 2026. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Teaching Schedule: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two 75-minute session day. Estimated schedule:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Session A: 12:00 pm- 1:45pm</li>\n  <li>Break: 1:45pm -2pm</li>\n  <li>Session B: 2 pm- 3:45pm</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:  </strong>This position pays $46.00 per hour. This position is not benefits eligible.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Expectations:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop a daily lesson plan. This may include approved original curriculum or activities used in previous years. </li>\n <li>Lead lectures and hands on activities.</li>\n <li>Completion of an evaluation form for each program participant </li>\n <li>Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment for participating students.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, education, or an equivalent major</li>\n <li>Prior Teaching experience preferred</li>\n</ul>",
