Under the supervision of the Facilities and Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, building/equipment inspections, equipment repairs/modifications, and general labor. The Maintenance Technician ensures ProMed&rsquo;s brand, philosophy, systems, policies, and procedures are properly implemented and observed.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'><strong><span style=\"color:#2F5496;\">&nbsp;</span></strong></p><h1 style='margin:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;color:#2F5496;'>ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</h1><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Use testing equipment such as power meters to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.</li><li>Maintain and repair plumbing systems to include water pumps, bathroom fixtures, flush valves and minor drain maintenance as needed.</li><li>Inspect or maintain all life safety equipment, including exit signs, emergency lighting, eye wash stations, AED&rsquo;s, fire extinguishers and fire protection systems.</li><li>Use hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance ranging from a complete overhaul to replacing defective components that meet the manufacturer&rsquo;s specifications.</li><li>Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance duties on production equipment.</li><li>Troubleshooting and repair of down equipment</li><li>Must be available for on-call as needed and/or scheduled</li><li>Hazardous Waste handling</li><li>Identifies and implements a comprehensive education plan to continually advance technical skills and personal development as well as enhancing organizational effectiveness.</li><li>Participates in project planning.</li><li>The employee is expected to develop acceptable work habits, skills, knowledge, and contributions consistent with the Maintenance position level.</li><li>This job also requires performing other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h1 style='margin:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;color:#2F5496;'>&nbsp;</h1><h1 style='margin:0in;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;color:#2F5496;'>QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE</h1><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;text-align:justify;font-size:11.0pt;font-family:\"Calibri\",sans-serif;'>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
