In this role, you will ensure the health and well-being of residents by managing, obtaining, and recording information related to their nutritional needs. We provide comprehensive rehabilitation programs including orthopedic, cardiac, and post-surgical care, along with physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Additional services include Respite Care, Seasonal Memory Care, Adult Medical Day Services, and Palliative Care. Our facility emphasizes a supportive team culture, employee appreciation initiatives, and work-life balance.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><h3><strong>Dietary Technician – Position Responsibilities</strong></h3>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Assist with nutritional assessments and recording dietary information for residents</p></li>\n   <li><p>Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding nutritional needs and dietary instructions</p></li>\n   <li><p>Follow resident meal plans and ensure dietary requirements are met</p></li>\n   <li><p>Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all food service areas</p></li>\n   <li><p>Cooperate with and support other staff members while maintaining respectful interactions</p></li>\n   <li><p>Uphold Elderwood Core Values in all work, including Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Excellence, and Reverence for the Individual</p></li>\n   <li><p>Perform all assigned tasks to a high degree of excellence, safety, and cleanliness</p></li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>From</h2>\n<h2>Up to</h2>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><h3><strong>Dietary Technician – Qualifications</strong></h3>\n  <ul>\n   <li><p>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition <strong>required</strong></p></li>\n   <li><p>High degree of personal cleanliness and good hygiene; health status suitable for food service</p></li>\n   <li><p>Ability to verbally communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff</p></li>\n   <li><p>Dependable, patient, and compassionate attitude toward residents</p></li>\n   <li><p>Ability to cooperate and work respectfully with all team members</p></li>\n   <li><p>Computer skills and ability to work in various software programs</p></li>\n   <li><p>This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
