Our roots were formed in the exacting nuclear and aerospace industries, expanded into Medical where we have supplied critical components to a global customer base. &nbsp;We currently provide elegant solutions across a broad range of customers and diverse markets. &nbsp; At Veridiam we recognize that talent is at the forefront of our organization and define who we are in today&#39;s industry.&nbsp;</p><p>POSITION SUMMARY</p><p>Use standard measuring equipment to perform inspections of fabricated parts; perform various dimensional and visual inspections of materials and products; and report results of inspections.</p><p>ESSENTUAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul id=\"isPasted\"><li>Set-up and perform mechanical and electronic dimensional inspection of various products.</li><li>Perform receiving, in-process and final visual and dimensional inspection on all product lines.</li><li>Set-up and operate air gage equipment to measure products.</li><li>Calibrate mechanical and electronic inspection equipment.</li><li>Utilize sampling plans as required by the specification.</li><li>Analyze and report inspection results.</li><li>Perform various laboratory tests including, but not limited to, surface roughness tensile and hardness testing.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance of equipment and tooling, including preventive maintenance and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work area.</li><li>Detect, identify and segregate non-conforming product.</li><li>Follow instructions related to enhanced/additional inspections.</li><li>Maintain clean and orderly work environment.</li><li>Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.</li><li>Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.</li></ul><p>POSITION REQUIREMENTS</p><p id=\"isPasted\">To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.</p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).</li><li>Minimum five (5) year&rsquo;s aerospace and metal material inspection experience or equivalent of education and experience.</li><li>Prior experience with visual and manual dimensional inspections.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection methods.</li><li>Proficient knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&amp;T).</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to operate CMM.</li><li>Ability to understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.</li><li>Ability to prioritize and handle workflow.</li><li>Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.</li><li>Proficient knowledge of and ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, calipers, and gauges, PI tape ring, pin gages tape measure.</li><li>Ability to measure and read dimensional tolerance tools and equipment.</li><li>Ability to view details in close range.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The above statements are intended to describe, in broad terms, the general functions and responsibility levels assigned to this classification.
