You will be part of a company that cares about you as an individual and aims to provide meaningful project opportunities and career development in a team-focused yet autonomous work environment.</p><p>The responsibilities for the position of Senior Transportation Engineer - Civil include:</p><ul><li>Managing dynamic transportation design projects and tasks by utilizing communication, initiative, and follow through skills.</li><li>Leveraging engineering knowledge and design technology to develop plans and documents for transportation projects that meet project goals and adhere to applicable design standards. Primary work area includes preliminary and final roadway and transit design.</li><li>Mentoring team members and overseeing work of others, including design calculations and documentation, plan development, and agency design requirements.</li><li>Providing independent technical reviews to ensure project quality control processes are followed.</li><li>Assisting with project procurement, scoping, and budget development.</li><li>Evolving innovation, best practices, and efficiency within areas(s) of specialty and across Isthmus.</li><li>Evidencing continued commitment to individual, company, and industry improvement.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree or Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering.</li><li>Registration as a Professional Engineer in Minnesota, or ability to obtain the same within six months.</li><li>Eight or more years of transportation design experience; project management experience a plus.</li><li>Experience with MnDOT design and plan preparation a plus.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following skills:</p><ul><li>Ability to communicate effectively.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in leveraging design as an aid to quality design and efficient plan production.</li><li>Ability to maintain productivity in an autonomous environment.</li><li>Positive team-focused attitude.</li></ul><p>Please provide detailed project experience, including specific roles and tasks for at least three projects in your resume.</p><p>Isthmus welcomes candidates looking for a full-time, part-time, or customized work schedule.</p><p>Isthmus welcomes candidates looking for office or hybrid work locations.</p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>The anticipated base salary range for this position is $105,000-$125,000/year for a 40-hour base work week.
