In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems within our technology stack.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You will ensure high levels of data availability, security, and integrity while delivering scalable and high-performance database solutions. Experience</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of<br>5 years’ experience in database engineering and administration.</li>\n<li>Proven experience as a Database Developer/Administrator working with:\n<ul>\n<li>Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and MongoDB.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>A portfolio of database development projects is an added advantage.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.</li>\n<li>Experience working with cloud data warehouses, including Snowflake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, and Azure Synapse Analytics.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with big data technologies within the Hadoop ecosystem, including Spark, Kafka, Hive, HDFS, and HBase.</li>\n<li>Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, and GKE.</li>\n<li>Proven experience deploying and maintaining microservices-based applications.</li>\n<li>Experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Cassandra, and Neo4j.</li>\n<li>Strong expertise in database technologies, architecture, and performance optimization.</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of database security best practices, backup, and recovery strategies.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in version control systems (Git), including branching and merging strategies.</li>\n<li>Strong programming and scripting skills in languages such as Python, Java, Go, Node.js, Bash, Ruby, and PowerShell.</li>\n<li>Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Sauce Labs, and Nexus.</li>\n<li>Good understanding of cloud networking concepts, including load balancers, application gateways, DNS, virtual networks, and firewalls.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, ESX, vCenter).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with Microsoft technologies: </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Active Directory, LDAP, IIS, DFS</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understanding of storage systems: </span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">SAN, NAS, Direct Attached Storage</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Interest in cybersecurity, authentication, and authorization systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience designing cloud-based network architectures.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Competencies</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong collaboration skills across teams and management levels</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">High attention to detail and commitment to quality</span></li>\n</ul>",
