The manager will be a primary resource for financial planning, analysis and reporting and will contribute their expertise to departmental and organization projects.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you&rsquo;ll do:</strong></p><ul><li><u>Financial Planning</u><ol><li>Coordinate department managers &amp; AMC Leadership in developing strategic plans, budgets and forecasts across all business units and activities.</li><li>Develop and maintain an effective and efficient system for carrying out financial planning, including playing a leading role in adopting and structuring new planning and reporting software. &nbsp;</li><li>Support business development efforts across the organization.</li></ol></li><li><u>Reporting &amp; Analysis</u><ol><li>Gather financial and non-financial data from departments and consolidate for reporting purposes.&nbsp;</li><li>Design and produce concise user-friendly reports for stakeholders within accounting, area managers, and leadership with a focus on results and key performance indicators.</li><li>Review monthly accounting reports to identify, understand, and report significant variances.</li><li>Provide support for AMC&rsquo;s Volunteer leaders in managing and carrying out their planning and reporting functions.</li></ol></li><li><u>Project Organization</u><ol><li>Assist Chief Financial Officer and Controller on departmental and organizational initiatives and major transactions</li><li>Support new systems and policy implementation</li></ol></li><li><u>Contracts Administration &amp; Risk Management</u><ol><li>Review contractual agreements for key financial terms, risks and potential exposure, recommending changes where appropriate</li><li>Coordinate with insurance brokers and staff to support renewals and new coverages</li><li>Support benefits administration and analysis&nbsp;</li></ol></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What we&rsquo;re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, business, or finance and progressive experience of three to seven years, demonstrating skills and ability for successful performance of this position</li><li>Understanding of GAAP, processing transactions in a General Ledger, building financial statements and conducting financial analysis</li><li>Exceptional ability to work as part of or lead a diverse team toward a common goal</li><li>Ability to gather, organize and analyze large volumes of data; to identify and communicate key information concisely and effectively; and, to propose and follow through on mitigating risks and/or pursuing opportunities</li><li>Able to prioritize many competing priorities, and lead tasks to completion</li><li>Expert at Microsoft Office Products Suite (O365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.); Experience with accounting and planning systems helpful (Intacct, Vena, Adaptive Insights)</li><li>You bring a commitment to creating an equitable, inclusive, and culturally relevant environment for AMC employees, guests, visitors, volunteers, and other constituents</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Compensation and benefits:</strong></p><p>Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000</p><p>Group Health Plan: 73.2% employer paid &nbsp;</p><p>Optional Vision Insurance &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Optional Dental Insurance &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Group Life Insurance: 100% employer paid &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p>Short Term/Long Term Disability Insurance: 100% employer paid &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>Matching 403(b): 4% with vesting schedule</p><p>Vacation: Four weeks accrued each year to start</p><p>Holidays: Ten paid holidays per year</p><p>Free use of AMC Destinations</p><p>Free annual AMC membership</p><p>Prodeals discounts on equipment and gear</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To Apply:&nbsp;</p><p>Please include a resume and cover letter. &nbsp;No phone calls please.</p><p><em>AMC welcomes all qualified candidates to apply and we invite the full participation of all individuals currently underrepresented in the outdoor community.
