    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>Job Overview&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>The essential purpose of this position is to manage the business development of our Tweezerman Pet Collection Brand. This position will be responsible for strategically planning and managing all new product development for our Pet Collection, leading all product launches from conceptual stages through the product life cycle. The position will require strategic go-to market launch strategies and retailer support while maximizing revenue and profitability. The position will work closely with Production, Sourcing, Marketing, Quality, Creative, external engineers, R&amp;D and Sales to execute comprehensive and integrated product development plans and launches. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities&nbsp;</u></strong></u></p><ul><li>Conduct &amp; analyze consumer, industry&amp; competitive research to identify product gaps in the market: technology, products, and pricing within the pet&nbsp;industry.</li><li>Own the new product development strategy, utilizing market data &amp; trends to determine how these opportunities can be introduced as new products to the Tweezerman pet tool portfolio, while aligning with the brand priorities and strategic goals.</li><li>Manage the development of new products, to establish&amp; monitor: timelines, on-time launch, pricing, sample management, quality &amp; legal requirements. &nbsp;</li><li>Responsible fore stablishing pricing for new &amp; existing products, while managing and analyzing costs (COGS) to ensure all product launches meet required margin goals.</li><li>Communicate and establish relationships with suppliers on a daily basis to keep projects on schedule.</li><li>Partner with Sales to gather retailer insights and support channel activations, including customer specific materials for line reviews and develop exclusives as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Partner with Sourcing, Supply Chain and QC to identify new suppliers, establish internal timelines and ensure all new launches meet required product specifications.</li><li>Partner with Digital Content, and Creative to develop product launch strategies, identify packaging needs &amp; develop content schedules.</li><li>Lead role in creating Tweezerman Pet Collection brand &amp; product presentations, organizing and communicating to cross-functional teams on new product launches&amp; brand updates.</li><li>Ensure that new &amp; existing products are proactively analyzed (POS, Shipments) to ensure they will meet their objectives. Conduct product complexity reduction annually. &nbsp;</li><li>Manage key deliverables such as product code request forms, packaging requests, routing samples for quality testing / content creation, creating product presentations, routing forecasts, among others.</li><li>Responsible for brand marketing collateral, including marketing calendars, sell sheets, PR fact sheets, new item launch announcements/samples, domestic brand catalogues. &nbsp;</li><li>Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plan for alternative actions.</li><li>Execute product &amp; brand trainings.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Qualifications&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s preferred with any combination of specific product management experience</li><li>4-5years of product management experience preferable in the Pet industry or other consumer goods products</li><li>Strong understanding of the grooming tools industry</li><li>Proven ability to think and act entrepreneurially</li><li>Must have strong communication and presentation skills &ndash; the ability to transmit your passion for beauty and insight to others is key!</li><li>Capable of working independently and structurally, and is able to work with a high degree of autonomy</li><li>Excellent project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects at different life cycles, simultaneously</li><li>Ability to analyze sales data and market insights to make product development recommendations.</li><li>Is socially engaged with an interest in influencers and content</li><li>Uncompromising attention to detail</li><li>Good Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)</li><li>15% domestic and international travel required for factory visits (China, Germany, India) and tradeshows</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Working Conditions&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p>The incumbent is required to travel to tradeshows and visit factories internationally every year to enhance technical knowledge. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong><u>&nbsp;</u></p><p>This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk in front of a computer.
