For more information about Crum & Forster, please visit our website: www.cfins.com.</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p>Hybrid role in our Morristown NJ office</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Summary:</p>\n<p>Performs risk selection and pricing on new business, renewals and endorsements, reviews quotes prior to issuance and makes marketing calls to agents and Wholesale Brokers. This position requires underwriting acumen and relationship management skills. Manages agency relationships through continued customer service and marketing activities. </p>\n<p> Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lines of business underwritten include: primary property, general liability, umbrella and other lines on occasion.</li>\n <li>Meet profitability, retention and written premium goals determined by the branch.</li>\n <li>Make independent decisions within underwriting letter of authority and maintain proper file documentation.</li>\n <li>Manage assigned agents efficiently including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Regular production visits</li>\n   <li>Quarterly review of assigned brokers’ profitability</li>\n   <li>Identification to Profit Center Manager of potential broker conflicts & successes</li>\n   <li>Focus on service and being responsive</li>\n   <li>Work jointly with other profit centers within the organization as needed to promote cross selling and enterprise awareness.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Assist in developing annual business goals for assigned agents/producers. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $68,200 to a maximum of $107,000. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
