Their excellent technical skills &ndash; accompanied by their role as employee-owners &ndash; has become our legacy.<br><br><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">ADVANCED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN</span></strong></span></p><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;' data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,sans-serif;\">Advance Maintenance Tech performs routine and non-routine complex maintenance on plant equipment and machinery. &nbsp;Advanced Maintenance Tech&rsquo;s have the ability to work on more complex and specialized tasks that could include, talking to vendors, ordering parts, setting up schedules, training, electrical/electronic work, welding, machining and mechanics.</span></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><span style=\"font-family: verdana,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><br></span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></strong></span></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Makes recommendations to Maintenance Supervisor about set up, maintenance schedules and processes, and potential outsourcing of maintenance projects.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs routine preventive maintenance duties that include; machine lubrication, chemical changes in wash/dip tanks, belt changing, and equipment inspections to minimize repair cost and prevent equipment failures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist in the setup of new machinery and facility layout.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Work within the company maintenance tracking system to assist in maintaining a record of preventative and regular maintenance performed.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Communicates equipment failures and unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Directs other Maintenance Techs as needed.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Opens clogged drains, fixes leaks, and performs other simple plumbing jobs.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Assist with basic landscaping work as needed to include; pulling of weeds and brush, snow removal, salting of walkways, and other unskilled yard work.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Works with others to maintain a high value on a safe workforce.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Maintains good housekeeping in the department.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Performs maintenance work to the maintenance processes to meet IATF 16949:2016 standards.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Participates in and supports the principles of Open Book Management.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Other duties may be assigned as needed.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><strong><br></strong><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">WORK ENVIRONMENT:</span></strong><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">Work is performed with exposure to harsh conditions such as: dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures for extended periods of time.&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><br><strong><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: verdana, sans-serif;\">The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. They will have motivation and drive to get the job done. They will be enthusiastic workers interested in growth and improvement. Other requirements include:</span></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">High School diploma or GED preferred. AA/AS in Maintenance Technology, Engineering, or related equivalent experience.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Five (5) years previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Working experience with HVAC, welding, electrical, plumbing, equipment installation, hydraulics, and air powered equipment required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be able to read machinery schematics and diagrams.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must be able to diagnose and perform complex maintenance solutions.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must have general knowledge of equipment used in the building trades, ability to use hand tools, ability to be forktruck certified, and not afraid of heights.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Must have the ability to multi-task and handle multiple maintenance projects/issues at one time.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Requires effective relationship management skills with co-workers in a team environment.</li><li style=\"font-family: verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Basic computer literacy/experience required.
