    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Facilities Maintenance </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Williamsport, PA</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Under general supervision, install, troubleshoot and repair, and/or, perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, machinery controls, and/or industrial electrical wiring.  Requires a  high level of skill and proficiency in each of these areas and must function as a technical specialist in at least one.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Dismantle machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts, and repair them using hand tools and instruction manuals.</li>\n <li>Measure, cut, and install pipe and tubing for gas and water, using cutting and threading die tools or soldering equipment.</li>\n <li>Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, flow meters, pumps, and other plumbing equipment.</li>\n <li>Determine wire and conduit size and install electrical power to equipment, and repair or replace wiring and fixtures.</li>\n <li>Have knowledge of national electrical code.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot existing equipment control circuits.</li>\n <li>Have knowledge of HVAC systems, gas boilers, direct expansion air-conditioning and controls.</li>\n <li>Operate gas or arc-welding equipment to fabricate metal framing, fixtures, stands, and other equipment parts.</li>\n <li>Communicate/relate to personnel/supervisors in all areas of plant.</li>\n <li>Perform work in accordance with drawings, schematics, manuals, and building codes.</li>\n <li>Follow all security and safety instructions.</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Approximately 5 to 6 years working experience in the field of building maintenance mechanic construction, HVAC, industrial electrical wiring and capital equipment repair.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to read mechanical drawings and schematics</li>\n <li>Associate’s Degree in related technical field or accredited certificate preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
