This is accomplished by performing the following functions:</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>Maintain visibility to residents by wearing Safety Monitor vest and ID badge and inspect site through regular (hourly) tours of the property.&nbsp; Review video cameras and monitors area consistently.</li>\n\t<li>Enforce CHI, site and DSS/DCFS policies, regulations, and rules with residents.</li>\n\t<li>Intervene in situations as needed in an appropriate fashion to de-escalate situations and redirect behavior.</li>\n\t<li>Provide limited crisis intervention to residents when necessary until CHI professional staff Shelter Manager, Program Manager, or Program Director is able to be contacted and/or intervene.&nbsp; Contact supervisor and/or the proper authorities as needed.</li>\n\t<li>Maintain appropriate documentation accurately throughout shift, i.e. turn-over, census, logs, incident reports, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Conduct unit inspections in accordance with OTDA/DSS/DCFS /CHI standards by physically entering each unit to insure proper monitoring and follow up is recorded.</li>\n\t<li>Accept resident referrals and review rules and regulations with new arrivals including but not limited to the rule of 2 bags per person upon intake.&nbsp; Perform bag searches upon intake and as required by bag search requirement protocol.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Submit all internal and external reports in a timely and correct manner as required by funding agencies and/or CHI (logs, notes, incident reports).&nbsp; Maintain logs, office, and site in an orderly fashion.</li>\n\t<li>Inform Shelter Manager of work site&rsquo;s physical condition (i.e. dangerous conditions, possible repair needs, supply needs, etc.).</li>\n\t<li>Prep vacant units for new placements.&nbsp;</li>\n\t<li>Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and inventory.</li>\n\t<li>Facilitate and document evacuation procedures (i.e. fire drills) as directed by Managers.</li>\n\t<li>At the direction of CHI staff (Program Manager or Program Director), act as a liaison between the agency and the community at large.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li><strong>Salary: $18.00-$14,976&nbsp;Hourly</strong></li>\n\t<li><strong>Non Exempt - Overtime Eligible</strong></li>\n\t<li><strong>Open Shifts: Saturday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m. - 12 a.m.</strong></li>\n\t<li><strong>Location; Poughkeepsie NY</strong></li>\n</ul>\n",
