Job Overview: The Strategic Account Manager – Integrated Technologies is the primary customer-facing representative for the USA and Canada region. This role is responsible for driving sales of technical solutions to the mining industry, including:  Cyanide technologies  Innovative Glycat and other leaching technologies  Analyzer and sensor portfolio  AI-powered optimization technologies The role focuses on achieving short- and long-term volume and margin targets, while building and maintaining multi-level relationships across existing, past, and prospective customers. A key aspect of the role is gathering and leveraging customer intelligence and stakeholder insights to understand competitive positioning in the region. Key Accountabilities: Develop and execute regional account plans Generate new business through new account acquisition Monitor contract status and improve contracting processes Lead negotiations for new and existing contracts Coordinate cross-functional teams for bid proposals Identify and manage key corporate customer relationships Provide demand forecasts and supply chain insights Deliver market intelligence via distribution and customer channels Develop and integrate regional sales strategies across international markets Behavioral Competencies: Customer-Centric Relationship Building Demonstrates a deep understanding of customer needs and industry challenges. Demonstrates resilience and drive in high-pressure, remote, and cross-cultural environments. Technical Competencies: Technical Sales Expertise Deep understanding of mining industry technologies including cyanide, Glycat, leaching, analyzers, and AI optimization. Ability to translate complex technical solutions into customer value propositions. Skilled in preparing and presenting technical bid proposals and solution packages.   Contract and Commercial Management Proficient in managing high-value contracts (>$10 million), including negotiation, renewal, and compliance. Strong grasp of commercial terms, risk mitigation, and legal considerations in industrial sales. Experience with contract lifecycle tools and CRM systems. Leadership Competencies:   Contract and Commercial Management Proficient in managing high-value contracts (>$10 million), including negotiation, renewal, and compliance. Strong grasp of commercial terms, risk mitigation, and legal considerations in industrial sales. Experience with contract lifecycle tools and CRM systems. Strategic Vision and Execution Translates business strategy into actionable regional account plans. Aligns team efforts with long-term commercial goals and market expansion strategies. Anticipates industry trends and positions the organization for future growth. Talent Development and Mentorship Coaches and mentors sales personnel to enhance performance and career growth. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial discipline Minimum 15 years of sales experience, preferably in mining or industrial chemicals Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Self-motivated with initiative and drive Excellent oral and written communication Team-oriented with ability to work remotely and independently Solution-focused with strong relationship-building capabilities
