    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.37.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.37.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Description</strong></p><p>Performs engineering analysis, calculations, research and prepares reports on Automotive, Marine or Mechanical related consulting projects. &nbsp;Provides support for and leads projects. &nbsp;Plans, directs, coordinates and manages projects for clients regarding vehicle crash investigation and reconstruction for passenger vehicles and heavy trucks. &nbsp;Provides analysis and support to ensure that goals/objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or with the assistance of Staff Consultants or Staff Engineers. &nbsp;Responsible for assisting in business development in the Automotive/Marine Practice group to obtain a client base for ESI.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Reviews project details to determine time frame, procedures, and deliverables for accomplishing project, including staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources throughout various phases of the project.&nbsp;</li><li>Testify in court on behalf of clients.</li><li>Makes determination to take or decline projects based on all variables.</li><li>Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.</li><li>Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.</li><li>Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.</li><li>Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.</li><li>Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.</li><li>Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.</li><li>Conducts well-developed and well-prepared client presentations.</li><li>Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.</li><li>Works with Business Development&nbsp;to identify potential clients and strategies to build client base.</li><li>Mentors non-senior employees in growth and development.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><strong>Experience Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years&rsquo; work experience</li><li>Basic familiarity with hand and power tools, instrumentation, and automotive systems and components</li><li>Machine shop, machine tools, wood working tools</li><li>Demonstrated familiarity with automotive systems, Data acquisition and instrumentation</li><li>Material testing laboratory experience</li></ul><p><strong>Skills Required</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision&nbsp;</li><li>Above average verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in technical presentation and writing of technical reports</li><li>Proficient with vehicle EDR imaging procedures</li><li>Proficient with mathematical, CAD and office productivity software on multiple OS platforms Strong mechanical aptitude</li></ul><p><strong>Skills Preferred</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced proficiency with MATLAB, AutoCAD, Excel, and programming languages</li><li>Significant knowledge of motor vehicle systems</li><li>Experience with FEA software ABAQUS or similar</li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>BS in Materials/Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics/Engineering Mechanics, etc. from an ABET accredited engineering school.</li><li>P.E. license (preferred); required to obtain PE if candidate does not possess.</li><li>Formal training in Automotive Accident Reconstruction (preferred)</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Must have a valid driver&#39;s license and reliable transportation</li><li style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Must be able to occasionally travel for short-notice trips of variable duration</li><li style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Trips may include weekend and holiday travel</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
