This list of tasks is ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY and does not comprehensively list all functions and tasks performed by position in this class.</strong></p><p>Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.</p><p>Responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel and may also be responsible for cleaning guests&rsquo; personal items if the hotel offers a cleaning service. &nbsp;</p><p>Sorts linens for washer.</p><p>Removes stains from badly soiled linen.</p><p>Disposes of linen and terry properly.</p><p>Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensure that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used.</p><p>Folds linens to hotel standards and keeps stock organized in designated places.</p><p>Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards.</p><p>Keeps laundry, neat and clean.</p><p>Assists housekeepers in cleaning the hotel.</p><p>Assists with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas.</p><p>Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</p><p>Must have a positive attitude and good communication skills.</p><p>Must commit to delivering a high level of customer service.</p><p>Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.</p><p>Ability to work under pressure and under my own initiative.</p><p>Ability to follow directions both written and verbally.</p><p>Experience communicating with people of diverse demographics.</p><p>Capacity to work as a member of a team or an individual.</p><p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with multi-tasking skills.</p><p>Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for most of the day.</p><p>Ability to work in moderately noisy work environments for long periods of time and communicate effectively in this environment.</p><p>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion.</p><p>Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds.</p><p>Must pass a pre-employment drug test.</p><p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><p>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</p><p>A minimum of one year&rsquo;s experience in a housekeeping or laundry role is required.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>INDIAN PREFERENCE:</strong></p><p>Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. &nbsp;To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.</p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
