If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspects construction contract related to water and wastewater facilities</li>\n <li>Reviews contract plans and specifications for constructability, notes, errors, omissions and potential problem areas</li>\n <li>Schedules, plans, coordinates, and completes site inspections</li>\n <li>Coordinates construction related system outages with client facilities</li>\n <li>Prepares complete inspection reports and maintains a daily diary</li>\n <li>Maintains complete project files including a project photo file</li>\n <li>Keeps detailed records of construction progress, changed conditions, and as built drawings</li>\n <li>Prepares monthly estimates of quantity of construction completed</li>\n <li>Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with contractors, consultant, and owner</li>\n <li>Responsible for actions and performance of Junior Level Construction Inspectors</li>\n <li>Mentors and trains Junior Construction Inspectors</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>In-depth knowledge of standard construction specifications, codes and special standards, methods, materials and equipment used in construction of water and wastewater facilities</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of methods of soil compaction and density testing procedures, properties and uses of concrete, and techniques of handling, placing, curing and sampling concrete</li>\n <li>In-depth understanding of OSHA Construction Safety Orders</li>\n <li>Ability to keep neat, accurate, and concise records</li>\n <li>Work independently with minimum supervision</li>\n <li>Strong oral and written communications skills</li>\n <li>Strong computer and internet skills</li>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>2-5 years experience of responsible field inspection</li>\n <li>Completion of OSHA 10 hour safety course and other construction training</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Two year technical or Associate Degree in a related technical field</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>$55.00 to $65.00 hourly. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
