In this role, the STS Fixed Asset Advisory Services Manager will be charged with marketing, networking and business development within his/her area of experience and specialization. &nbsp;They will also be charged with recognizing potential changes in tax policy and applying new policies to tax compliance.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p><p id=\"isPasted\">&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Utilizes prior experience executing client deliverables related to the subject matter in the form of report deliverables and depreciation calculations</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Applies industry standards, along with firm policies and BDO Tax Quality Manual requirements as they relate to the subject matter</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Researches or assists with the research of relevant Tax Court Decisions, Revenue Procedures, the Internal Revenue Code, and Tax Regulations</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Identifies when research is needed; clearly and concisely frames issues to be researched; and clearly and concisely reports the analysis.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Manage and review cost segregation studies for newly constructed, purchased, or renovated properties.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Perform detailed analysis of construction costs, engineering drawings, and cost records to identify assets eligible for shorter depreciable lives.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordinate with clients&rsquo; construction, accounting and finance teams to gather necessary data.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Prepare high quality reports supporting accelerated depreciation classifications and assist clients with IRS audit support if needed.</p><p><br></p><p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;
