    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:</span> Long-Term Substitute Teacher</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span><br>The Long-Term Substitute Teacher provides instruction, classroom management, and support for students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher for an extended period of time. This role requires maintaining a positive learning environment, delivering lessons according to curriculum plans, and ensuring student growth and success during the teacher’s absence.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver daily instruction following lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or develop plans aligned with school curriculum if needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain classroom routines and expectations to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.</li>\n<li>Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.</li>\n<li>Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and/or assessments.</li>\n<li>Communicate with school staff, administrators, and parents/guardians as appropriate.</li>\n<li>Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and planning sessions if required.</li>\n<li>Support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred in some districts).</li>\n<li>Valid state teaching license or substitute authorization (requirements vary by district/state).</li>\n<li>Prior teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Flexibility, reliability, and ability to adapt to various grade levels and subjects (if applicable).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Schedule:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time during the teacher’s absence (length may vary depending on assignment).</li>\n<li>May be required to take on additional duties such as supervising lunch/recess, attending meetings, or planning lessons.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building Principal and/or Department Chair</li>\n</ul>",
