Job Description Well established building maintenance company is seeking for a full-time energetic Customer Service Oriented District Manager. The position requires a person who can manage client expectations, oversee operations and quality control at multiple locations and establish effective relationships with clients as well as internal staff. IBS Direct is a commercial janitorial company that has been in business for 30 years and counting. Each year our team has consistently grown and expanded. We currently serve customers in NYC, Upstate NY and Connecticut Main Duties: • Direct supervision of up to 30 accounts and 30-40-part time janitorial personnel • Ensure that each account delivers quality service meeting client’s expectations • Addressing and resolving customer complaints • Daily travel through ought NYC • Follow-up and follow-through with assigned territory clients • Cultivate and grow a strong team of committed cleaners and supervisors • Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed by the supervised personnel • Ensure quality control site inspections • Inventory & supply control • Address any issues and form a plan of action • Coordinate, report, and make recommendations to the Operations Manager to improve quality of service • Train, re-train and cross-train employees • Review and Control labor hours of employees. • Review time keeping system making sure that designated accounts are adhering to schedules • Assist with new hire and termination paperwork. • Reports directly to the Operations Manager • Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: • Positive, enthusiastic and hard-working attitude • At least 1 years of Management/Customer service experience in Janitorial or Service Related Industry preferred • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills • Ability to multi-task • Ability to problem solve in an efficient and timely manner • Excellent communication skills • Excellent client management, presentation skills and conflict resolution ability • Ability to lead and manage others • Spanish speaking is a plus • Proficient in Microsoft Office • NYS Valid Driver’s License • Must be a Team Player Benefits: o Base salary 35 to 40k o Paid Time Off + Health Benefits o Eligibility for Company vehicle o Great culture with progressive company and opportunities for growth Job Type: Full-time: Hours: 2 pm to 11 pm
