    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">Balance Life &amp; Work with a New Career Opportunity</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>(LONG TERM CARE)</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>(SHORT TERM REHAB)</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>(SKILLED NURSING)</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">Now Hiring - <strong>Therapeutic Assistant&nbsp;- Lowell, MA</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>Salary Range- $17.00-20.00/Hr Based on Years Experience</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">CareOne at Lowell</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\">The <strong>Therapeutic Assistant</strong>&nbsp;will be responsible for:</p>\n<ol>\n <li>Provide resident supervision, including special staffing, lobby, smoking, patio, and dining room.</li>\n <li>Monitor attendance at assigned activities and maximize participation through appropriate motivational techniques.</li>\n <li>Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures, as instructed.</li>\n <li>Supervise residents in performance of activities of adult daily living, such as daily dental mouth care, bathing, hair care, and nail care.</li>\n <li>Visually and audibly observe and report on resident’s physical and psychiatric conditions, reporting significant changes to the Nurse Manager and Therapeutic Supervisor.</li>\n <li>Assist resident with the shaping of new behaviors by providing timely feedback.</li>\n <li>Encourage interaction and socialization with staff and peers, while acting as a role model.</li>\n <li>Participate in the development of a plan of care for each resident.</li>\n <li>Implement individualized behavioral goals outlined in Care Plan.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development of individualized behavioral protocols.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate knowledge of crisis management techniques through training and certification in CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention).</li>\n <li>Respond to behavioral codes, providing early intervention and de-escalation of situation.</li>\n <li>Participate in in-service education, as provided by facility.</li>\n <li>Accompany residents to community appointments, assuring safety at all times.</li>\n <li>Transport residents in facility vehicles, as directed.</li>\n</ol>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0px\"><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health or related field, preferred</li>\n <li>1+ year of direct health care experience</li>\n <li>Current CNA license, a plus</li>\n <li>Valid Driver's license</li>\n</ul>",
