    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who are we?</span></p>\n<p><span><br>At Mergon, we mould ideas for a sustainable future.  We work with leading brands like Tesla, BMW, Xerox and Abbott to design, manufacture and deliver sustainable products for the vehicles and equipment of the future.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>We care deeply about our colleagues, customers and our community and we have a curiosity that constantly pushes us to innovate and improve.  </span>We are competent, capable and we invest in our people and in our processes to ensure we continue to grow and do our best work every day. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What's the Role</span></p>\n<p><span>We are currently looking for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Group Accountant</span></span> <span>to join our group finance team.</span></p>\n<p>Reporting to the Group Financial Controller (“GFC”) you will play an active role in the Group Finance function by supporting the GFC in the production of various consolidated group reports.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will also be responsible for timely and accurate management accounting for a number of small group entities ensuring full compliance with CRO, CSO etc is maintained.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Preparation of consolidated cash forecast, debtors and creditors reporting </span></li>\n<li><span>Supporting GFC in the implementation of further consolidated group reporting and periodic preparation thereafter</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintaining strong collaborative relations with business unit Financial Controllers across the Group to support timely production of consolidated group reporting in line with group reporting deadlines</span></li>\n<li><span>Responsibility for timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts for group companies </span>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Responsibility for related Revenue, CSO and CRO compliance </span></li>\n<li><span>Maintaining related VAT compliance </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span>Preparation of annual budget and forecasts for group companies</span></li>\n<li><span>Preparation for and engagement with external Auditors for group companies</span></li>\n<li><span>Liaise with advisors to ensure group companies tax reporting obligations are met on time</span></li>\n<li><span>Ad-hoc analysis and reporting.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Ideal Candidate</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Accountant, part </li>\n<li><span>Previous experience in month end close including journal posting</span></li>\n<li><span>Experience in making timely ROS, CSO, CRO returns.
