At Great Parks, our team members work together to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations. This part time position works various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.<p><br></p><p>A successful Snack Bar Attendant: Greets and serves guests at the snack bar. Position frequently includes cash handling and reservation responsibilities. Standard practice allows employee to proceed alone on regular duties with questionable situations referred to supervisor.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks&rsquo; policies, procedures, and performance expectations. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.&nbsp;</li><li>Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required. &nbsp;</li><li>If over 18: drives Great Parks&rsquo; vehicle. Essential duties may require the employee to drive their personal vehicle within the park to transport supplies, materials, or a cash box to the worksite.</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old if serving alcohol. &nbsp;</li><li>May be required to complete alcohol service training on an annual basis. &nbsp;</li><li>Greets and serves guests to ensure satisfaction. Handles guest inquires.</li><li>Prepares food products and maintains clean and sanitary conditions.</li><li>Transports change orders, merchandise, food, mail, and supplies.</li><li>Organizes, fills orders maintains inventory records.</li><li>Opens facilities and prepares for daily business. Closes and secures facilities at end of business day.</li><li>Takes inventory of merchandise and records results.</li><li>Operates point-of-sale system, reservation system, cash box and cash register.</li><li>Maintains cleanliness of guest and employee areas including restrooms. &nbsp;May include other housekeeping duties.</li><li>Cross training to other areas is encouraged</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Great customer service experience preferred.</li><li>Written and verbal communication, basic math skills and basic computer skills. &nbsp;</li><li>May be required to complete safe food service training on an annual basis. &nbsp;</li><li>Must be 18 years of age.</li></ul><p>License of Certification Requirements:</p><ul><li>State Motor Vehicle Operator&#39;s License that meets GPHC current carrier guidelines.</li></ul><p>Benefits include membership in Ohio Public Employees Retirement System and free or discounted use of many Great Parks of Hamilton County recreational activities.&nbsp;</p><p>Great Parks is an equal employment opportunity employer.
