The Intake Specialist I will work with <span>the Enrollment Development Specialists (EDSs) </span>to <span>assist </span><span>in </span><span>increasing </span><span>the PACE </span><span>program membership </span><span>by </span><span>effectively enrolling potential participants</span> <span>and</span> <span>supporting</span> <span>retention</span> <span>efforts.</span> The Intake Specialist will <span>be</span> <span>responsible</span> <span>for</span> discussing, upselling, and explaining the overall services provided by the PACE Program. They will be housed at the AltaMed PACE site they support and will act as the bridge between <span>the</span> Marketing and Operations teams. <span>The</span> <span>Intake Specialist </span>I <span>is </span><span>responsible </span><span>for </span><span>managing participants’ enrolments; </span>they <span>will </span><span>be </span><span>the </span><span>central point person </span><span>and will work </span><span>in </span><span>conjunction </span><span>with </span><span>other </span><span>PACE </span><span>cross-functional departments </span><span>to </span><span>ensure participants </span><span>are </span><span>enrolled promptly</span><span>. </span><span>This role </span><span>demands </span><span>to </span><span>work </span><span>in </span>a <span>fast-paced </span><span>and team </span><span>environment, </span><span>in </span><span>collaboration </span><span>with </span><span>internal </span><span>and </span><span>external AltaMed operations teams. </span><span>The </span><span>Intake Specialist </span>I <span>will </span><span>utilize </span><span>the </span><span>Customer Relationship Management System </span><span>(CRM) </span><span>to </span><span>track and </span><span>monitor </span><span>all </span><span>leads and will </span><span>be </span><span>responsible </span><span>for daily </span><span>status reports </span><span>on </span><span>marketing efforts </span><span>and </span><span>participant enrollment progress. Other responsibilities include assisting </span><span>with </span><span>identifying </span><span>new </span><span>referral sources, conducting outreach activities, </span><span>and </span><span>generating enrollment </span><span>leads </span><span>through internal promotion activities. </span><span>The </span><span>Intake Specialist </span><span>must </span><span>ensure consistent compliance </span><span>with </span><span>all </span><span>state, </span><span>federal, </span><span>and </span><span>company-specific</span> <span>requirements.</span></p><p></p><p><b> Minimum Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>Associate&#39;s degree in healthcare, Business Administration, or a related nursing field of study, or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry.</p></li><li><p>Current valid BLS certification required.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <span>one</span>-year experience working with the elderly and their families, preferably in a healthcare or community agency setting required.</p></li><li><p>Marketing/Sales experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin/Vietnamese/English or Spanish/English required.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p></p>$25.00 - $29.32 hourly<p></p><p><b><span>Compensation Disclaimer</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
