Our work helps prevent unnecessary arrests, court cases, and hospitalizations&mdash;empowering both professionals and the people they serve.</span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\">&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\"><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><b>What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"margin-bottom:13px\">\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Connect youth with co-occurring mental health, substance use, and/or developmental needs to appropriate community-based services. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Build and strengthen partnerships across behavioral health providers, schools, courts, and community agencies to improve youth outcomes. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Support diversion from hospitalization, detention, and residential placements by promoting family- and community-based care. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Collaborate with crisis intervention teams, including ACI and law enforcement, to assess and coordinate care for youth in crisis. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Monitor client needs, respond to symptom escalation, and provide education on symptom management. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Facilitate a monthly evening recovery group through Lee&rsquo;s Summit Youth Court. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system. </span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom:13px; margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">Partner with internal multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support overall client wellness.</span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\">&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\"><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><b>Requirements of the Position</b></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a Social Science-related field. </span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Must meet the Missouri Department of Mental Health criteria for Community Support Specialist.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with youth with mental health disorders, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">A valid automobile driver&rsquo;s license, appropriate automobile insurance, and a safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li style=\"margin-left:8px\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\"><span style=\"line-height:115%\">Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as email.</span></span></li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\"><span style=\"display:block;font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><b>Grow With Us</b></span></span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\">We&rsquo;re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a Youth Behavioral Health Liaison through training, collaboration, and meaningful work.</span></p>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"margin-bottom:13px\"><span style=\"line-height:normal\"><b>Ready to join a team that&rsquo;s passionate about people?
