This role is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical systems and industrial equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a commitment to preventive maintenance practices, and adherence to established safety and compliance standards, while contributing to operational excellence and minimizing equipment downtime.</span></div><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong><em><u>This is not an IT or Network Specialist position.</u></em></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;<strong>What you&rsquo;ll do:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Install equipment at customer packing sites and train customers to operate and maintain that equipment</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Perform preventative maintenance on equipment at customer sites as defined by the Sinclair Scheduled Maintenance Plan (SMP)</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Overhaul and update equipment in the field or in Sinclair shops as defined by the Sinclair Scheduled Maintenance Plan (SMP)</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Provide technical support to customers and Sinclair contracted representatives</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Maintain equipment service records, and assist with documenting equipment configurations</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Monitor and maintain spare parts inventories in Sinclair service vehicle, workshop and customer sites</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Monitor customer label inventories and communicates possible label requirements to the sales department</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist the engineering department by testing and evaluating new components as well as reporting on current component reliability</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist in evaluating both Sinclair and competitive machinery &amp; equipment in the field</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all models of Sinclair equipment and ensure customers are given appropriate information and/or assistance to optimize the use of that equipment</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Obtain measurements and other detail of customer equipment onto which equipment may be installed</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist in training and performance monitoring of contracted service personnel as directed</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Assist in service activities previously stated outside of own territory, as directed&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Participate in special projects as required, both in and out of own territory</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>What you need to be successful:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Experience servicing electro-mechanical equipment&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Sound mechanical ability and basic understanding of AC and DC circuits, motors and controllers</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits using schematic drawings and electrical test equipment</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Practical experience with personal computers is required for file management, report writing, etc.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Travel domestically (80% daily travel) and internationally (20% International travel) as required; primarily within the US, Canada and Mexico</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to communicate effectively with customers&#39; management as well as machine operators while maintaining a positive customer-oriented attitude</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">After appropriate training Service Technicians must be capable of understanding label making processes and the problems that can occur with labels</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Excellent attention to detail, organized and communications skills</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Ability to work within a team environment and with external partners</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Associate&#39;s degree (A.
