Starting salary is $76,500; commensurate with experience and education.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SUMMARY:</span><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position :</span> Instructional Coach – (Campus)<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Description :</span> To support assigned teachers in the implementation of research-based strategies and<br>curricula by demonstrating and supporting exemplary instructional practices.<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports to :</span> Principal<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Department :</span> Academics<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job type :</span> Full time<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Classification :</span> Exempt<br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Calendar Type :</span> 11-month (Calendar 2)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of five years of experience in a K-12 setting</li>\n<li>Coaching/mentoring experience in a K-12 setting</li>\n<li>Teacher certification</li>\n<li>Master’s degree in Education preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct classroom visits to support teachers in classroom management and instructional strategies</li>\n<li>Conduct pre- and post-conferences with teachers</li>\n<li>Identify growth areas for teachers</li>\n<li>Work with teachers on effective lesson plans and provide feedback</li>\n<li>Develop strategies to reach district/campus student goals</li>\n<li>Analyze school and district assessment data for each student group and suggest solutions to the campus administrators and teachers</li>\n<li>Guide teachers on re-teaching or focusing on standards that students have not mastered based on assessment data</li>\n<li>Provide one-to-one training to newly hired teachers</li>\n<li>Conduct model lessons, when needed</li>\n<li>Train teachers on effective classroom management and instruction strategies implementation, effective intervention strategies, and intervention programs used in the campus</li>\n<li>Assist teachers to incorporate current technology into the classroom to produce better outcomes</li>\n<li>Track the progress of teachers on the pace of the curriculum, professional growth, PBL implementation, grading policies, practices,Lesson prep and intervention plans</li>\n<li>Ensure that teachers have the necessary materials and tools for instruction</li>\n<li>Prepare campus reports on the implemented programs and services provided to teachers</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management,</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>both internal and external to the district.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external to<br>the district.</li>\n<li>Ability to organize special programs for assigned campus.</li>\n<li>Ability to use computer including software, database used by the district, spreadsheet and word<br>processing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.</li>\n<li>Ability to analyze data.</li>\n<li>Ability to use effective interview techniques, effective public speaking skills, and problem-solving skills. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Light Work: may require occasional light lifting.</li>\n<li>Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required.</li>\n<li>Position is in office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location.</li>\n<li>Excessive travel is required. <br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.</em><br><em>The requirements, physical demands, work conditions and environment listed above are representative of</em><br><em>the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
