Position Summary
The Construction Project Manager IV leads complex, high-value design and construction projects for government facilities. This role oversees all phases from planning through occupancy while managing scope, budget, schedule, and contractor performance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage construction projects from planning through closeout
Develop and maintain project plans, cost estimates, schedules, and procurement strategies
Serve as on-site project manager, overseeing daily field operations and resolving issues
Review and approve design documents, submittals, and project deliverables
Ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, and quality requirements
Provide technical expertise across building systems and construction practices
Coordinate with A/E firms, contractors, and government stakeholders
Lead project meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication
Travel to project sites as needed
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or 5 years of relevant experience
Extensive knowledge of building design, construction methods, and commercial building systems
Proficiency in project management, scheduling, cost estimating, and construction documentation
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple high-value projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
Experience with project management and estimating software
