We are offering an exciting <strong>6-month full-time Summer Internship</strong> in Trade Compliance, starting in <strong>June or July</strong>, designed to give you valuable exposure to global operations and regulatory practices.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br><strong>Key Accountabilities:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Ensure:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Help ensure implementation and enhancement of the trade control and sanctions compliance program globally . Acts as project support for the review for the global program.</li>\n <li>Help ensure identification and mitigation of trade control and sanctions compliance risks</li>\n <li>Help ensure compliance with applicable laws including OFAC and similar guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Conduct:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support Compliance Program Development o Support the enhancement of the Global trade compliance program</li>\n <li>Administer / developing communication for Team Members involved in International trade and Transactions;</li>\n <li>Help establish global trade control guidelines, processes, and other global compliance initiatives;</li>\n <li>Under guidance review export and import processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable trade control regulation;</li>\n <li>Support Due Diligence activities EUR/ASIA (KYS, KYE &amp; KYC)</li>\n <li>Sanction Risk Classification of Third Parties</li>\n <li>Further enhancement of Trade Control processes</li>\n <li>Development and monitoring of mitigation plans</li>\n <li>Help support trade and sanctions compliance Operations</li>\n <li>Help advise the business on compliance risks o Support Implementation and enhancement of compliance controls</li>\n <li>Raise awareness through communication and training</li>\n <li>Support deployment and enhancement Internal controls</li>\n <li>Advice business on internal controls guidelines and drive adaptation</li>\n <li>At request provides active support towards internal and external audit.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Technical / Management Knowledge / Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor recommended, master’s degree desired, e.g. in Trade Compliance, Maritime, Transport, Business Administration or Law</li>\n <li>You are currently enrolled in a study program in The Netherlands and will remain enrolled for the <strong>entire duration of the internship</strong></li>\n <li>Ideally full-time available (we work Hybrid)</li>\n <li>We welcome an active interest or experience in trade compliance or related areas (ABC, AML internal audit, risk management, etc.)</li>\n <li>We welcome knowledge of relevant sanctions, import/export controls and trade control laws</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Excel, SAP, Oracle</li>\n <li>Language: English – business fluent other languages desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br><strong>About Braskem</strong></p>\n<p>Braskem is a Brazilian chemical and petrochemical company that stands out for being the largest producer of thermoplastic resins in the Americas and the world leader in the production of biopolymers.
