This candidate will use their expertise and technical knowledge to deliver design work for water/wastewater clients in New York and across North America. This role is hybrid requiring in-office presence, flexibility to work from home and occasional field work.&nbsp;</span></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:12pt 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></span></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:12pt 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span><strong>Leadership</strong></span></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:12pt 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span>A large part of this role will support professional engineering services during construction; this includes but is not limited to construction observation, review of submittals and shop drawings, responses to request for information (RFIs)</span><span>, review of Contractor requests for deviations (RFDs) change order oversight</span><span>&nbsp;and permit closeouts. You will be expected to review QA/QC submittal reviews and RFI response comments from junior staff to ensure contract compliance. Additional leadership responsibilities include:</span></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:12pt 0px; padding:0px\">\n <ul>\n  <li><span>Liaise with Project Managers/Team Leaders and clients to ensure effective communication on project matters.</span></li>\n  <li><span>Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives</span></li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:12pt 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span><strong>Cross Collaboration</strong></span></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"border-width:0px; font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:12pt 0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><span>This position will require communication with varied stakeholders such as collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design or solution. You will need to further develop and understand the services delivered by Arcadis, of the client’s business and the industry sector to facilitate personal networking and to develop personal credibility in the industry</span></p>\n</div>\n<p><span>&nbsp;<strong>Project and Site Work</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>&nbsp;This position requires you to play a vital role in Arcadis projects that consist of both office and field work. Task management as a project resource to complete allocated activities&nbsp;to meet budget, timeframe and quality objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations will be extremely important.
