Description Health Unit Coordinator - Long Term Care at Providence Child Center in Portland, Oregon. This posting represents a full-time day shift position(Monday-Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm) with the potential to work weekends. Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients. We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment. We’re incredibly proud of the culture we’ve built. Our caregivers consistently go above and beyond to support each other and our residents with profound teamwork and respect. Our unit is known for its exceptional continuity of care, with many caregivers having long tenures and deep relationships with our residents and families. We’re also proud of our interdisciplinary approach, working closely with respiratory therapy, rehab, and social work to provide holistic care.
