Your experience may influence the work you are assigned, but you are looking to expand your expertise.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The Day-to-Day:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Research and provide legal and regulatory analysis and advice on financial services and investment management, privacy, employment and other laws and regulations globally</li>\n <li>Conduct legal analysis of complex topics and translating this analysis into practical and succinct legal advice</li>\n <li>Participate in ad-hoc regulatory and business projects, which may include implementation of new legislation or regulatory requirements</li>\n <li>Launch new regulated entities (including incorporation and licensing)</li>\n <li>Draft or review various documents related to legal support of the business globally, which may include commercial contracts, employment agreements, investment management agreements, fund documentation, policies, business guidelines</li>\n <li>Handle corporate law and commercial matters</li>\n <li>Handle employment law and litigation matters</li>\n <li>Draft, review and negotiate vendor contracts</li>\n <li>Coordinate with external counsel on various matters</li>\n <li>Train and mentor paralegals, fellow lawyers and business colleagues on new or changing regulations and other matters</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Law degree from an accredited law school, with admission to a bar</li>\n <li>6+ years' post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years of experience at a mid to large sized law firm</li>\n <li>Skill in effectively balancing business interests against legal and regulatory risks, and factoring in the bigger picture, strategic goals</li>\n <li>Familiarity with international investment management, employment or privacy laws in various jurisdictions will be beneficial, but not mandatory</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>$195,000 - $285,000 base salary per year in the state of WA.
