In this role, support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing maintenance operations, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently. Will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance personnel, coordinating projects, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality within the facility.</p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:&nbsp;</strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul type=\"disc\" data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Delegate Maintenance Technician&#39;s work list and assure it is completed in a safe and timely manner.</li><li>Schedule groundskeeping as needed including mowing, trimming, spraying, snowplowing, and general site upkeep.</li><li>Oversee maintenance on most plant processing equipment including routine and preventative maintenance.</li><li>Schedule and order supplies as needed for new equipment installs and oversee site during installs.</li><li>Making sure all exterior and interior repairs are scheduled or completed as needed&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all plant processes are operating mechanically to plant standards and expectations&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in planning of new equipment installs&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings with maintenance personnel on various topics and document meetings with signatures from all attendees.</li><li>Perform any disciplinary action of maintenance employees as needed, along with scheduling and approving vacations and all other personnel issues.</li><li>Must pass all tests and verifications for: LOTO, pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, Ammonia system, confined spaces, and electrical safety (Arc flash)&nbsp;</li><li>Must possess a &ldquo;hands on&rdquo; approach with maintenance staff</li><li>Requisitions</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li>Strong management skills with a focus on leadership and team development.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and industrial automation systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Solid understanding of facilities management principles and practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems, including high voltage applications.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with project management methodologies to effectively oversee maintenance initiatives.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience in manufacturing environments, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCES:</strong></p><ul><li>Three to seven years related experience.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic Knowledge of computers</li><li>Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Degree preferred.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong><em>We look forward to welcoming a proactive Assistant Maintenance Manager who is eager to contribute to our team&#39;s success through effective leadership and technical expertise.</em></strong></p></div></div>\n",
