    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>This Opportunity</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">WSP is currently initiating a search for a&nbsp;<strong>Full-Time Deputy Project Manager&nbsp;</strong>with the potential to work out of <strong>Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Exton, PA; Phoenix, AZ; or Tampa FL.</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The successful candidate will have experience managing a variety of projects. We are seeking a candidate that is comfortable providing direction on repairs, modifications, light construction and technical direction on building/facilities projects.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Our ideal candidate will have experience in repair/alteration/modification/construction oversight of&nbsp;small to medium, multi-discipline projects from the time of assignment to completion, close-out, and turnover to the client. An individual project will last from a few days to a few weeks in most cases. The candidate must be proficient in handling multiple ongoing projects/assignments at the same time, ranging from client/ site communications, subcontractor cost solicitation and direction, scope of work review, project execution, deliverable collection and review, and pricing review.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Your Impact</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Supporting the review of scopes of work requests from client, subcontractor bid reviews and analysis, and preparation of proposals and cost estimates.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Managing projects (range of project sizes) upon award of task orders.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Subcontractor coordination, including preparation of quotes and requisition requests.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Budget monitoring &amp; schedule monitoring with adherence to cost and delivery contractual commitments.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Project monitoring and thorough documentation of project tasks and delivery, based on a weekly report of the overall project status.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Maintaining a weekly project / task log in a templated, professional format.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Record and document significant verbal, telephone, and media messaging.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Quality control, documentation and resolution of poor-quality work, repair, installation, or materials selection by general contractors, trade disciplines, and suppliers.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Change order control, including detailed knowledge of change and contractual requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Job safety, monitoring, and compliance with WSP and USPS’s safety, health and environmental (SH&amp;E) requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Interface with client contacts as required or defined for program.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Project deliverable package preparation and submittal.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Overnight travel is estimated to be to less than 10%.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Implementation of standards in compliance with USPS/WSP program requirements and seeks guidance and direction from Sr. program and/or project managers in the planning, execution, and delivery of similar project requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Possess knowledge of repair, maintenance and/or construction processes.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Demonstrate project management skills in the management of integration/coordination of project elements, scope management, time management, cost management, quality assurance, managing changes in priorities and communication management in the generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of project information.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ensure that projects are successfully completed on schedule, within the approved budget and in accordance with applicable quality standards and contract requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Clear and precise record keeping meeting contract requirements and regulatory requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Compliance with all USPS/WSP applicable Environmental, Health and Safety requirements in the performance of the projects.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Types of buildings worked with include, but are not limited to post offices, mail processing facilities, and maintenance facilities.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Who You Are</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or relevant.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Experience working with outside 3rd&nbsp;party vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Minimum of 5 years of experience and demonstrated success with repair services, maintenance, construction management or related disciplines.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Prior relevant project management experience, strongly preferred.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ability to self-motivate with an entrepreneurial spirit. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, MS Project.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Experience working with direct and indirect resources, minimum of 3 years acting in a repair/maintenance, construction management capacity or supervisory role on light industrial or commercial projects or similar experience.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Knowledge of environmental, safety and health regulatory compliance.
