          "text": "<p>The Role of the RA3 is to lead complex activities and projects in seed lab and nursery seed production., ensuring the successful execution and management of end-to-end process in seed production across multiple crops.&#xa0; Executes role responsibilities with seasonal supervision.</p><p><strong>Accountabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Functioning as an integral member of a team leading all aspects of seed lab activities including packaging, treating, seed transfers, inventory, and shipping.</li><li>Manage up to 30 part time staff to ensure quality, timeliness and efficiency of all seed lab processes.</li><li>Manage the weekly labor needs to account for current and future workload.</li><li>Deliver projects in a quality an timely manner.</li><li>Leading tasks supported with FTE staff and third-party contract labor to achieve desired results.</li><li>Provide daily direction and support to contract staff.</li><li>Provide task specific training to FTEs and contract staff</li><li>Performing all tasks and behaving in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety and stewardship related company policies and practices, including completing all required company training courses.</li><li>Leading complex projects &#xa0;and deliver on key targets.</li><li>Understand and operate within given budget</li><li>Effectively communicating regularly with peers and supervisors regarding the status of projects and work activities.</li></ul>",

Degree in an Agriculture, Logistics, or Operations Management related discipline and/or relevant experience preferred.</li><li>3 or more years previous work experience in a related field</li><li>A basic understanding of plant genetics and breeding</li><li>Clear understanding of the practices and procedures that affect nursery seed production quality, quantity, and timelines.</li><li>Demonstrated outstanding communication skills</li><li>Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.</li><li>A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s history and ability to obtain a Chemical Applicators License within 3 - 6 months of hire date,&#xa0;is strongly recommended.</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to use MS Office, especially Word and Excel, and other standard software.</li><li>Experience with basic lab equipment including specialized seed counters, printers, scales, and scanners.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired:</strong></p><ul><li>Bilingual Spanish/English a plus</li></ul>",
