    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.32.33/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.32.33/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <div><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The PACU Registered Nurse, as a professional practitioner, assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and delivery of patient care. &nbsp;According to the established standards of nursing practice and standards of care, he/she demonstrates an ability to make clinical nursing judgements in an efficient and effective manner. &nbsp;The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking and performance abilities in the coordination of patient care and consistently performs according to the PACU policies and procedures. He/she assumes ultimate responsibility and accountability in managing the care of his/her patients and assisting others in the department. The PACU RN shall be competent to care for patients with ventilators, arterial line and central lines. He/she may handle human blood and other potentially infectious and/or hazardous materials, which may result in possible exposure to blood borne pathogens and/or harmful elements. &nbsp; This position may have the responsibility for the assessment, treatment and care of the patient in the following age groups pediatric, adolescent and geriatric.
